The start of the year is a great time to review rules and expectations at Armstrong School. No where is this more important than in the bathroom. During our first School Counselor classroom lesson, we are reviewing ways we can make the bathroom a safe, comfortable place for all students. Please review these expectations with your children at home.
1. The bathroom is a private place for all students. No one should be looking in or attempt to enter a bathroom stall being used by another student.
2. Students are expected to leave the bathroom the way they found it. This includes placing all toilet paper in the toilet, flushing, and leaving stall doors unlocked once you are finished.
3. Students are expected to maintain personal space in the bathroom by keeping hands and bodies to self and using an indoor voice.
4. When washing hands, students are expected to try and keep water in the sink and to use only one press of soap. This ensures that the bathroom floor does not become slippery.
Thank you for reinforcing this important information.
Sincerely,
David Starr
